LC Automation operates a three tier service. The first tier is provided by our field sales engineers operating throughout the UK. Our technical team provide a second tier of support via our helpdesk. Finally, for specialist applications we have dedicated engineers for motion control, automation (PLC, computer control and software) and safety.

Training is one of the cornerstones of our support. Small course numbers focus on personal coaching of applied solutions rather than simple product knowledge. Standard or tailor-made courses include PLC techniques, programming and communications, SCADA, AC inverter principles, energy saving and safety. Consultancy also covers energy saving, risk assessment, machine safety and interface techniques and European standards.

Fast and efficient delivery is an essential aspect of any distributor’s service. LC Automation’s investment in IT and centralised stock and warehouse facilities ensure products are received just when they are required. Others may promise a similar service, but we integrate with your operations to help you make the products work and ensure your logistic requirements are satisfied.

LC Automation have always provided assembly services to customers with a varying demand in their production cycles or who prefer to purchase pre-assembled units. Our Preston production department provides a wide range of sub-contract services including electromechanical, electronic or cable loom assembly.

Partnerships with customers have always been a driving force for us. This allows us to introduce system integrator partners to end users and thus provide solutions to many industrial needs. Recent projects involve work with industries such as aerospace, automotive, electronics, food and drink, materials handling and water.

With years of experience in the design and manufacture of control panels, our production team can provide a complete design, build, documentation and test service. We ensure you receive a high quality product operating to the latest European standards.
